I always consider myself as an entrepreneur. I think it is a thing with which a person is born with, a thing in which you do not have any type of choices. It can be described as an unbelievable and passion for creating something by oneself, where the success and decisions all remain with you. Even during the time when I was employed as a full time employer, I had something that I can consider totally as mine. I took birth in a house where I was repeatedly reminded that it is always better to be self employed. I was taught that this is the place where money plays an important role.
Before I joined my previous company Boogin Head, I had started a coaching and recruiting firm. Although it gave a moderate success, but was not as high as I thought it would be. May be it was because of the economy or as I was starting to build new relations, but I considered it as my lucky charm. During this time, some people told me that most of the successful individuals fail many times before they become successful and I consider this thought to be right. In the year 2005, I made the first prototype for Sippi Grip. I was feeling frustrated with my one year old son who had a habit of throwing things from his chair. I was going on collecting the cups which had either become dirty or were lost. I was repeatedly looking around for things that will suit my demands.
Although there were some stuffs at that time, each of them had some important flaws that made it useless for me. I told “If I find a thing that works in the best manner for me as well as the thing that I have made, I will let the project go on and try to make it something new. I never tried and this is how the birth of Sippi Grip took place. Nowadays large numbers of parents all around the world buy Sippi Grip from the large retailers like Babies “R” and also the small, high boutique stores like for example the Kitson. The Sippi Grip is functional as well as affordable but is considered enough fashionable for all kinds of consumers.
