Use of Social Media to Promote Business

Web Inc, an organization known to provide templates for your websites and hosting of small business has recently surveyed a group of 1132 small business owners. Among these business owners the most important thing which they wanted to find out is the percentage of social media usage to promote their businesses. The results of the survey states around 69 percent of the small business owners in the recent years are putting social media to use for promoting their business. Besides this figure around 41 percent of them said that they will start using this platform within a period of three months. Again among the ones who are using social media it has been reported that about 68 percent of them are using Facebook. In fact the use of Facebook is more than the use of personal blog.

This does not mean that all the small business owners who are using social media for the promotion of their business are very happy with the results. There are around 60 percent who are of the opinion that they are not happy with the results of social media. The results of not being satisfied with social media are primarily lack of experience and less of investment. The survey reported that 43 percent of the small business owners said that they invested only 10 percent of their marketing budget behind social media promotion. The others figures were like one among five businessmen invested nothing almost on social media. Yet there is reason to happy as more number of people will invest a higher amount on social media promotion.

If you are a small business owner and are providing with the excuse that you do not have the time to invest in social media, then you are completely wrong. This is because spending more time on social media like Facebook to give all the updates of your business is always considered a welcome step.
